Forgotten Warrior

Model I made today, in an attempt to escape the urge to return to model editing... I think it turned out pretty well, (of course I could be mistaken) not to mention it's my first "succesful" head... I hate heads! I just can't make 'em! Anyways, skin is not the best, rather the worst, but it was just to cover the model with something

the skin makes him look like a pile of purple doughtnuts. The skin is also liek your other skins, blurry, and not very defined.
he looks a bit thin.
and the armor plate on his chest doesn't feel right. Maybe its jsut too low compared to the head.
I'd suggest giving him a chin.
and those things on his arms and legs looke strange and just mess up the model.

(^wasn,t meant to offend, just giving out honest opinion)

Yes, but the face is still blobby/blurry/undetailed.

no, it's actually worse in my opinion.
Nice armor though.

Meh, how am I supposed to add detail to plain skin?

By making a face.

well a first step for higher quality and less blur would be to rearrange your uv's and make them bigger. There's a lot of unused space in there, uv's should cover the entire surface of the canvas.

Problem is I don't really like texturing a large area :(

Try it aat least, it'll be very defined, and good for the portrait. You can also add much more details.

Sweet armor though.

then don't even bother. Unless you want to make nintendo DS models.
