War in Lürga Laszda

I made this to accompany/promote my map of the same name. The map itself will probably not pass selection here because it's an AOS map (I think it has its originality but your standards are really high).

The tauren looks kinda odd though

They all look a little flat, the lighting isnt diverse enough to make them look more dynamic, and the composition is a big mess. But it is indeed pretty nice.

How did you make it? scanned lines or all digital?

Also, just try submitting the map. We dont have a grudge against aos maps, we have a grudge against low quality maps. If you map is quality, you have nothing to worry about.

they dont all look a little flat, the succubus is really nice, the ones i dont really like are the tauren and arthas because their heads are kind of odd. I realy love the piece though.

Yeah the succubus is nice. The face (not the horns or ears) of the succubus is the only element in the pictuere that looks really finished.

Nah hes a little weird, and not as smoothly finished as the succubus. The tauren is thje worst though, i cant see why the quality if that one is so much below the rest. Allmost looks like another artist did it or something.

He looks way too beastly, there is no humanity in there. Tauren are not evil, they are quite friendly creatures.

Hey thanks for the kind words, guys

I made it at work so I didn't have much reference material when I was sketching it (that's why the tauren looks off and the fiend looks.. strange). The colours were sampled off other WC art though.


Sketched it on paper with pencils, then scanned it and re-did the whole thing on Photoshop with a wacom pen. I don't normally draw like this, I usually do inked pieces comic book style. This was a test (no layers and masks. Just paint away).
