Switching anim positions

How can I switch the shield anim for the footman to his right hand instead of the left? And how could I modify the footman so that I can have him stabbing properly?

You can't.

Switching left to right, you could put a bone that owns everything and do a global sequence scaling of -1 in the X axis (I think that'd do it), but for that you'd also have to reverse the vertex order on all the geosets (I experimented with this, you see, and you have to -1 on two axes to avoid things going inside out).

So no, it's not possible.

Point two, you'll have to find a good humanoid stabbing animation and anim-transfer it on. I assume from you posting here that you don't have Max and can't follow all that stuff that was posted recently.

The bandits have a right-handed attack. You could rename the footman bones so they match those of the bandit and then transfer the animations. Or rewrap and modify the bandit model so that he looks like a footman.

I know, but I want to make it so that its a two handed jab, not a one-handed thrust.
