I was just wondering what texture Blizzard used to make blink, and if you possibly can explain how they made it.

Well first of all, to find the textures blink uses, you can do two things:

Look the model up in wc3viewer, and look at its used texture names.
However, it would be much faster to extract the blink model, convert it from mdx to mdl, and look up the paths to the textures there. This way you can easely track those textures in vieuwer and see what they look like. I cannot explain to you how blink was made, but you can quite easely adit the blink model in mdl by changing the texture paths and the color tags, thats what i did a couple of times...

Even though question was asked about how the model was made, i feel this thread is most appropriate in model edits, and thus it is moved.

Should all be ParticleEmitters2, far as I can remember. Maybe a little bit of geometry being scaled around. But mostly emitters.
