Hello to Model Editor and Help

Hello all, I'm new here. I'm not a very experienced modeller and skinner, but I was quite proud when I can make an all-blue Lava Spawn.

OK, I'm straight to my questions:
1. I have a model of Lich King's walking armor (named Mega Revenant) and have created 'Evil Arthas on foot' myself. What I want to make is the simple verion of cinematic Arthas like in 'The Ascension'. I have Photoshop CS2, 3ds max 7, and WC3 Model Editor in my inventory. Don't hesitate to make advanced explanation, I'm accustomed to that .
2. I've seen may models that use another model's animation (Like that Blood Elf Templar) how can I do this?
3. If I want to create model from a scratch, should I use my 3ds max 7 or should I get that Milkshape?

Thank you for your coming responses! I'll appreciate all of it!

Guesst
1. I'm not sure what you're aiming for, but it sounds like you want to add the armor to the walking Arthas. So, what you would do is merge on the geoset of the armor, move it around to fit Arthas, and then assign it to the right bones. That is the general idea, but I can't help you with doing that in WC3 Model Editor since I don't use it.

2. There is an animation transfer program: http://www.oinkerwinkle.com/tools/download.html

3. It is probably better (if harder) to use 3ds max 7, but RDZ will call you a thieving scumbag. Milkshape is a bit easier for you as a beginner to use, but 3ds has many more options.

He'll call you a thieving scumbag if you stole it, by all means, but if you obtained it legitimately, all is weel and good.

Milkshape is far easier to use, I'd say, and since the MDL editing forum is somehow also the Milkshape forum, you're best using it if you intend to hang around here.

THEORETICALLY, you could just take the MegaRevenant armour geosets and dump them into the Arthas model; then use Vertex Modifier to shunt the stuff around (though it shouldn't even need much of that). Remember to give credit, though, since the MegaRevenant was one of my pet projects and I don't want to see him misused.

I'm sorry, but thank you. I was able to track who originally made the Mega Revenant (since WC3sear.ch moved to HiveWorkshop).

Last, I forgot to post it:
How do we convert WoW Models and what additional tools will be needed?

Sorry again for the long reply, the flood hit me.

EDIT:
Extra: Is this the Milkshape everyone using?

Yes.

WoW porting is not supported here.

I guess I have to figure it alone about converting.

Thank you again! This is really a priceless information for me!
