The reason of my recently activities and model submission is that i've gived up with my project Tears of Darkness And i've started a new project World of Genesia As this project replace ToD there is some stuff took from ToD include in WoG My goal is to make a singleplayer rpg as desorientating as the wonderful Legend of Magnador(I hope you know this map) with captivating storyline and fun combat system and the feel you are actually playing a RPG and not Wc3. You need to add a little bit more info. Perhaps elaborate on the backstory? |

I'm still writing the storyline. So the story begin (as always) with a trivial event. But i didn't make a main quest for now. |

I'll post a comment if my modem will decide that 6 mb aren't too much... -_-' Judging from the screenshots: - Can I suggest you some doodads scaling? Because maybe it won't be noticed during the missions, but in the cutscenes it's weird to see candles\bottles\closets almost as tall as a child. - It seems like you cut the villagers' heads and put the animal heads on them via attachments... but then the portraits look headless. For a singleplayer map you can afford those those 60-100 kb for geomerge. - The adult panda is nice, I don't like too much the use of the mountain king for the child. Not for the animations, it's the body shape that is too sharp. Why don't you just use the fire panda instead? |

About the child i didn't use the Fire panda because he's too big and the mk shape look more like a child than the pandaren shape. |

I went as far as the first boss encounter now. It's been fun so far, there's much room for improvements, but I can see it's getting a nice campaign. The terrain overall is good enough, a little flat, but I guess that's for gameplay reasons. - Some little errors in the doodads placement on the houses, but nothing big. - The trees are far too close to each other. I see you're using them for blocking mostly, but rocks, "hills" with pathing blockers and other doodads would work just as fine. If you really want to mass trees, the standard elveswood model would look much better I think. - I can teach you how to apply that "animated" effect to other plants, so you can avoid having the crop stand perfectly still while all around the vegetation is waving at the wind. The combat system, instead, it's the only thing that need some serious retinking imo; I mean having the creeps popping up from nowere right next to you. It wouldn't be too bad either if they didn't keep spawning constantly. I run into the first boss by accident, simply running away from a horde of spiders and rats. Apart from causing obvious balance issues, that also makes the exploration of the world quite tedious. As a suggestion, you could maybe randomly place the enemies every time you enter the zone, and let them chase you if you get near; that would leave more room for sneaking past them, or running away if necessary. |

thx for the comment The doodads have been slightly moved when i resized the map bound and some have been moved to the nonplayable area but it isn't in the real map. And your cambat system sound good i 'll use it. |

Well, you were right I guess, the MK animations are fine for the child. I also forgot to say that the pet summoning only works once. |
