Ok, let me preface by saying that I have done a large amount of searching and reading on this topic. I've read Grater's Thread, which details exactly what I want to do, which is create an unselectable, but targettable unit. I have managed to do just that, but encountered a strange problem. Every guide tells you to create a Chaos ability which morphs the unit into the same unit-type. But when I made my map, I discovered that the trick would NOT work when the unit is transformed into the same unit-type, but WOULD work when it is transformed into a different unit-type before the Locust ability is added. Attached is a demo map showing this bug. Simply change the spell data in the ability based off of Chaos called Chaos (Water Elemental) unit besides a water elemental, and the trick will work. If, however, you leave the field as a water elemental, then the unit will be untargettable. I have not read about anyone encountering this problem, and I am utterly baffled and frustrated. help. |

Excellent work, this can be great for some maps. |

Well that makes it all the more puzzling...When you summoned the water elemental (Spell field is water elemental lv 1), then the chaos ability (water elemental lv 1 in the unit field), then it worked properly? If this is indeed true, then I have some kind of problem specific to my computer, which horrifies me more than any other kind of bug. |

I'm fairly sure that chaos that changes the unit into itself doesn't actually do anything. |

Yes, nothing went wrong for me, i summed the elemental (which i changed chaos to a peasent) and a peasent spawned, i could not click on him at all, but when i click attack (a) then hover over the peasent, i can click on him to attack him. I dident see anything wrong, or any bugs. |
