Thank you! I was chosen as a participant for Art Allstate, a prestige program for high school students.
I gotta be interviewed on the piece, and hope I get in, where I can work in collaborative groups with professional artists.

Fixed the gradient a bit. The over blue in the top right bugged me.
These are the enlarged versions. 1024 x 768

I believe this is no lights.

and this is lights

By lights I mean a circular gradient set to like 50% opacity.

Pardon me, but what in god's name is it?

Maybe I just don't have an artist's eye...

Bad call on the colors.

Strange I find the color choice pretty good.

Nice work Shadow!

Those colours could have been very conflicting but the sharp white edge makes it work. Well executed, I like it.

All the colors are really saturated and placed with no real attention to a composition. If you're going for a graphic style, then all you have is composition to make it look good.

Composition...

the idea that art pieces should naturally lead the viewer's eye to a certain point of the piece through variation of saturation, sharpness/blurriness, and lines.

I realize that, the sharp contrasting colors of the bubble and the subtle darkening from the focal point is there for a reason.

The entire image is equally detailed/sharp and doesn't really distinguish the focal point. The leaf and the bubble line up strangely making it more confusing right at the top and the composition basically leads the eye right off the page. This could have been better if you had left out/toned down the red/blue and move the bubble thing closer to the center IMHO.

Gotcha, desaturate the greens and move it over, makes sense now.
