This is the first weird thing that happen to me while saving. No, really. Simply World Editor (normal WE, WEU, WE Helper, Grimoire, ...) ever crashes when I try to save a map at "Header" part (3rd saving part of the normal save). It just stucks, and give an error that closes instantly the map. And also : Delete it, no .w3xTemp, no .bak. So no possibility of recover (by the way I lost 6 maps from me in their "normal" version). I tryed to reinstall Warcraft 3 : Same results. And also, I tryed to use the map that Blizzard auto-creates when you open the World Editor with "Auto-create a new map at start-up", and the save didn't work too. Is there any workaround for that problem? Edit : Computer Format did nothing. This question has been sent to Blizzard e-mail box, Warcraft 3 Campaigns Forums, and The Helper Forums. |

When you reinstalled, did you remember to delete any folders left in the wc3 directory? Might have something left behind under "UI" that could be screwing with it post-reinstall. |

It is unlikelly you really lost maps but just modiffications. Also, you please stop using WEHelper on patch 1.21, it does not work, either use grimoire or download the 1.20 worldedit.exe to replace the 1.21 one |

That seems pretty unlikelly unless you were still using WEHelper or you have RAM issues. When you open the "normal WE" are you able to see WEHelper's menus, etc? |

You may have RAM issues then, download Memtest and run it for a while, at least until it gets to 300% |

Have you tried without WEHelper? |

Haven't you asked the same in three different locations? A good provisional replacement for WEHelper is the JassNewGen pack located in the resources\tools section |
