Guest | Okay, I'm trying to make it so that some heros are harder to level up than others. Is there any way to change amount of experience needed to level up? I suppose I could use a custom leaderboard with different points added to it for different creatures killed, the way you did it in SC, but that seems so tedious. |

Can't you just use the Hero - Set experience rate trigger? I think it requires some serious hardcode editing to change the 200/500 etc. |

Setting the experience rate would be the only way besides lots of trigger work. To actually change the amount needed, you would need to edit the miscdata.txt file which wouldn't work on b.net (but could work for a custom campaign). |

Guest | Thanks a bunch. I wasn't aware of the set experience rate trigger, although I suppose I should have thought to look for it. Ah well, it will be a while yet before I'm fully used to the triggers for this game. |
