These are a couple of my first very own skins I made today. One is a Sith Lord skin for the Acolyte model (I was testing the water, so to speak, on how much alteration I can do to a skin). Path is: textures\acolyte.blp The second is to be used for Shandris. I re drew the whole face and altered the costume to get a more "leafy" look. I was inspired by a skin I previously used for my map called "forest spirit". I wanted mine to look pretty so this is what I did. A question, though: why is it that when I see it in game, the portrait model looks like half her face is smeared with paint? Path is: Units\NightElf\Shandris\Shandris.blp |

Showing the wrap is much more helpful in rating it. In-game shots are neat and all, but don't really give much ability to critisize. |

Meh the reason your face looks bad is because the wrap on it streches the face |

I dislike the green colour that cover almost the whole archer, but the leaves isn't a bad idea. The acolyte is pretty decent, though I think he will do better if the lightsaber texture would be alphaed so the Acolyte will be open for attaching a custom lightsaber model (via triggers or aura abilities). |

So uh... what should I do then? About the wrap and the mesh thing? |

The Ranger needs a new face, new pants, new arms, and a newly skinned bow wouldn't be a bad idea. Really, the parts you did customize are pretty darned good, but you can't just leave the rest alone. It doesn't look good that way. Also, make her hair not the same color as her face. It looks horrible that way. Oh, and don't color the arrow. Why would her arrows be green? That looks silly. And give her different color lipstick. The lipstick is there to allow extra color in the skin and to make the portrait look prettier. Don't waste it. :P |

:D thanks, Rising!. And I did redo the face. It doesn't show, does it? Oh well... I will tinker with it more and repost it later. Thanks also to Dan van Ohllus :D |

These are mainly recolored, i wouldnt really consider them "skins" as much. Get wc3viewer, redo some more stuff from scratch. Then we'll talk again. |
