I was expecting more......

Well, this mod was okay, but the problem is you just stole music from other stuff and have about 8 new skins, no new models at all. Warcraft III units get repetitive at times so seeing the same stuff just renamed into stuff like "fountain of life" to "waterplace" is really sad...

I can complain because I wasted 50MB of downloading time just for the music and normal maps that come with wc3. I can tell you I can do better by just sitting down and MODELLING + SKINNING a whole race with me and my brothers.

Don't get me wrong, this mod was good, just a tad disappointing, if you know what I mean everybody else who dled this mod.

I was hoping the races would be fully new with NEW music, not dungeon siege music, and "death seems to be the problem" with this mod. The elven units fall down and never disappear. :D

Is it really that easy LiQuiD NiNjA? If it is as easy as you say, get your brothers together and mod a full custom race. With new models and new skins and new spells and new maps and new music, new AI, and dieing animations. I'm giving you a week. If you can't then I would stop complaining and telling them you could do better if I were you.

id like to see him have animated models by the end of the weak...

the reason for this was mostly that:

1. I can't make my own music, not warcraft style anyway

2. By that time I didn't get the model exporting plugin to work

3. I didn't have anyone to help me with modelling or skinning, I did 90% of the work on the 2.7 version. So you say you can do better with your brothers, well wouldn't that be suprising when I was more or less alone on 2.7 while you have somebody to help you. My Staff were recruited after the 2.5 and then I released the 2.7 some short time after it.

However the 3.0 version will be great. I can't promise you new music but i can tell that you will have loads of new models and skins in it. Just check my Work in Progress thread for some screenshots of my work so far. I think what you're missing in the 2.7 version will be available in the 3.0. And if you get dissapointed by that one, then make something similiar and THEN we can discuss what's good and bad.

I love this mod, it's one of the funnest mods out there.:D

OKAY OKAY, the mod just has a few bugs but is still great fun to play - :D

I understand you saying that I should make it in one week just as you did (probably that's why you're saying it) but it's only normal for you to defend your mod since you took so long to make it.

Anyway, enough with the bad comments, apart from needing more new stuff - this mod ROCKS.

hehe. No problem. I see why you think 50 mb is too much, but for the 3.0 version i will make a patch instead so you don't have to download all of it again. Of course I will upload a full install too.

Anyway this thread serves no real use now does it? So I'll close it :)
