The Commander is now ready for Public Release and is now Available. For those who don't know what it is, it is an add-on module for maps to allow control of the computer. By Sending Messages to a Comp you can get it to do tons of stuff like -Have the computer give you gold or lumber -Command it to attack an enemy -Guard a particular unit -Build 10 ground to ground units -Queue up 5 different commands -Stop attacks it is doing -and much more. You can do this all, and still you don't need to worry about micromanaging the comptuter, it will still do everything it needs to. Don't expect us to go away either, expect updates from us as well. It also Includes Custom AI by AIAndy and here are some of the advanced features it includes. - Computers on the same team will automaticaly tribute gold and lumber to each other. - Computers will automaticaly play more aggressive if upkeep get higher or enemy forces get smaller. - Computer chooses strategy and behavior depending on enemy race, ally race, expansion distance and upkeep. This AI is always being tweaked. Trust me I know I got Updated AI all the time from AIAndy during development and the AI only gets better. |

Guest | Wow this sounds cool, i'll play it in a little bit i didnt dl the SDK version, cause i dont feel like inserting triggers and ai's into maps, maybe i will dl that version later. I have the PV version, and i'll go try it out now:D |

All minor bugs that were found are fixed. Installer now does different Drives although Will error if you pick a drive that does not work or have a CD, or Disk in it. Will fix the error in next version. Also working on installer that will add trigger :) Thanks The Commander Team |

Im very sorry to say this Slayer but the installer is still not working at all, atlest not for me and for some other people that tested it :/ It starts with the device selector set to D: while C: is shown in the window, and if I try to change to any other device than D: with the selector it says "Run Time Error '76' Path Not Found" and exits. I cant install any AI with it yet :( |

Excellent! :ggani: i've inserted da scripts n triggers in some other maps cuz now pc play at least more human-like, n a lot better! n sometimes can b a real threath! :D GJ! btw u should make ai attack creeps more often... :gsmile: |
