I got vray to work and I downloaded some materials at http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php and made this scene. And this time with shadows. Around 9200 polygons. Takes around 13 min to render. Now tell what I can improve. I don't know much about how to make things look nice. |

they look much better. But you still need a lot more work into this to make them look good. Unfortunately I don't know Vray. |

The primitives sitting around the daggers look a bit crap. Try and make the metal texture flow more with the daggers too, since right now it goes like this === when the dagger is like _/-\_/-\_. You might want to put an edge on the table or move it away from the wall a little. Some detail on the stand, maybe some gold swirly bits wouldn't be too bad either. You might want to finely bevel the peak in the center of the daggers too, since you normally wouldn't get an edge that sharp. |

The belevel thing was smething I thought of too but then it would hide the blade tips. |

well yeah, they should look good IF you know how to use the renderer well. Search for some Vray tutorials. |

the ball is not round enough it still has some corners and the stativ for the swords looks good but i think you should add some highlights because it seems to be kind of matt.... |
