New Regular Project Highlighting!

Starting from April, we'll be highlighting a project development which we, the staff, feel has potential, especially focusing on those which are less well known. At the beginning of the month, a news piece will be done, linking to an article about the map (such as an interview with the creator), and they shall have a stickied map development thread.

So, how do you get your project highlighted? All you have to do is send in a submission with a resume of your project, with links to any helpful threads, etc., and if it will be added to a pool. While the pool of projects will be taken forward each time, to stop it getting too large those that we feel won't be highlighted may be removed. The only requirement is that your map is in active development.

At around about the middle of the month, we'll have a vote amongst the staff, and then the winner will have the article on it done, and released on the first of the next month. Depending on how many good projects put themselves forward for it, it will be monthly or bi-monthly.

So, get submitting! Entries should be PMed to me no later than the 10th March.

I'm assuming they don't have to be hosted or anything? Just active? Hmmm...

Hosted projects are unlikely to be highlighted, as the idea is to bring projects to the attention of people (something that has already happened with hosted projects). So no, you don't have to be a hosted project.

I think Av3n is trying to say that highlighted projects will get stickied until the next one is highlighted.

So uh, what should our "resume" contain?

Information about your project. Links to any released stuff, etc. would help.
