Is there any way to change how quickly the damage over time on shadow strike goes off? I tried changing decay power, but that didn't seem to have any effect. |

You want to change how long the spell works? Try changing the field "Stats-Duration-Normal" for normal units and "Stats-Duration-Hero" for heroes. |

Changing the duration just changes how long the speed reduction and damage over time last. Whether the dot lasts for 10 or 15 seconds and whether it's doing damage every 3 seconds or every 1 second of that time are two different questions. ^^ Quote:
That worked, thanks. Seems like kind of an odd thing to name that particular value, though, they should have called it damage interval or something like that. What does decay power do, anyway? |

lol sorry i did'nt understand it propely, so you meant the interval the spell works lol. sorry again. EDIT: I figured out what the decay power does; the decay power is the number of times the poison will damage within the spell duration. If you put 3 in the field, it will damage three times, with the casting time interval, for duration of the spell. Hope this one's right. lol |

Okay, thanks. That's important. :) |

Shadow Strike is infamous for having data fields that don't actually describe what they define. |

So does Cluster Rockets, Wand of Mana Steal (if I remember the exact name), Healing Spray, Flame Strike (almost, and there's a intstring in you can use for an extra info instead of putting ex : 6*3 dmg, it shows directly 18 dmg), and some spells. |

And so does Rain of Fire and Blizzard. Casting time is also the interval. |

Blizzard made it hard for people to edit the skill templates lol |
