Need Help With How To Make Some Spells!

How do you make a spell that can damage both HP and MP and still look like a basic projectile? Think a Firebolt that damages mana instead of stunning.

How do you make spells that can kill off a hero in one hit regardless of armor, hitpoints, invulnerable and others?

Anything.
For number 1, you can make an ability off of Rejuvenation and set its healing to -X and mana regeneration to -X... Files --> Preferences --> General --> Allow negative values...

For number 2, there is a Targets Allowed section. Make a spell based off of Storm Bolt or something, enable everything you want it to kill and make the spell do 504397639876836586 damage. Of course there's always Magic Immunity, so you'll have to think about that.

And for both, you can:
Use triggers. Open your WE and press F4.

Please be aware that the second spell has huge potential to become unbalanced. I would recommend a slow missile spell that can be dodged, or a spell with a long channel time, so the hero can interrupt it.

Why not simply Finger of Death with a million of damage which bypasses Magic Immunity?

Triggers would work well for the second one as well, as you can bypass EVERYTHING surefire that way and just kill the targeted unit.

Triggers bypass Locust whereas Finger of Death bypasses whatever but Locust.

To Ammorth :

Yea, I thought of that so I was thinking about giving it a 3 day cooldown.
Maybe 5 days?
Or a can only be cast once per level?
Any ideas???

In the object editor, check the box names "Hero Ability" and then set the number of levels you want.

think about what you are doing by making an "instant kill" spell. The only way to make it balanced is that if it only works on hero's/creeps that are very low lvl to where killing them would be done just as easily but take more time than an instant kill spell.

To be honest, unless you gave the spell some dynamic where it's one time use ever, or it required a large investment (10 second cast time combined with moderate range) it just becomes a boring cheap spell. After all, the ultimate of every action in the game is kill the enemy in one of many ways. And if you made one button do that then there really is no game. It's just pressing a key to win.

How come when I set the model to look like the Demon Hunter's Demon Form it gives me the Demon Hunter instead?

I'm going to make it kill heroes only with a high cooldown. That could be 3 days long with leveling it up lowering the cooldown rate. Otherwise I'll use it to make a minigame to go on a killing run for stress relief.
