I think we all know about magos' model editor and its problem with XYQuaded particles... SO I tried to find out why mine just don't work and Blizzard's do... Heck, I modified a XYquad that was already there, but ingame it just won't show. I looked at the MDL version of one of my models and one of blizzards... no difference. Whatsoever. Its extremely frustrating, as one of my effects relies on flat particles... Any ideas whats wrong? What does an XYQuad emmitter need anyway? If I just open a model in MDL, what would I have to add to make the particles flat? |

I'm not sure about what could be happening, could you post the mdl, or both particles? [use JASS tags for mdl]. |

Magos' is funky with XYQuads. It's just a bug in the model editor, far as I know. Find an emitter that is already an XYQuad in-game, and mod from there; that worked for me last time. |

Thats what I did but it won't show. Actually, I just need to know what an mdl needs to be XYQuad, except for the XYQUAD tag. And should the XYQUAD "line" in the mdl be placed at a certain spot? |

Doesn't matter where the tag goes, as long as it's in a ParticleEmitter2. And the tag is all it needs; just seems to be a li'l funky, |
