Alright, so I'm making a slew of items with their own item abilities for a map, and for whatever reason I am having tons of difficulty with the things. One of the more common problems I am having is that the items do not show the cooldown graphic--the clockwise wipe, etc. Furthermore, some items will only use their ability once, and then never again, yet still sit in the inventory. I want these items to be re-usable, and have set them to use the cooldown group of their item ability, and have also made sure they are not ignoring cooldown. Finally, a specific skill; I put a modified cluster rockets on an item, shooting 3 high-damage rockets instead of the barrage. However, it doesn't appear to do any damage at all for some reason, even though I upped the damage cap and everything! Agh! Suggestions? ![]() |

Ok my editor is in spanich but ill try to help, one of the fields in the item editor says something like "cooldown ID" you must put the ability that has the cooldown for that item, usualy the same ability the item uses. for the second problem i had that issue with an item that added divine shield to the unit, well some skills can't be used over and over in the item so ull have to make a trigger that when the item is used it drops the item to the ground and add it again to the unit (as far as i know this is the only way to fix this) for the last one, its a problem with the skill, check it until you get the result that u spect, check the targets |

The item problem is caused when your base item doesn't have a cooldown. I remember reading something about Cluster Rockets problems, I'll go have a look for it. |

Cluster rockets is a crappily made ability by blizzard >.< Dont use it, it will do random shit most of the time. (As i learned the hard way, it for some reason made a circle of rockets around my hero) Instead, use healing spray with negative healing. |
