Well, as the name implies, the skin is CRAP... I made it because I wanted another good skin like my Shepherd of Pestilence, but it seems I'm back at skinning pure pieces of shit Please tell me how ugly this is...

If sharper and less saturated, maybe more planned out: this might be a solid skin.

I was thinking of reshading it just to make it darker (I'm trying to copy one of Erwt's skins, lol)
EDIT: Visibly any better?

Hmmm... the yellow isn,t "gold" enough, and that star is just plain ugly. Fix those and it looks decent.

Any suggestions on how to make it more "gold"?

Stop using such thick, black lines.
In all of the skins you've done, your shading and detail levels are impeded by your use of these thick, ugly, black, blurry lines.
If you can get out of that habit, you'd be able to manage a lot more detail and quality shading.

I don't care how much you enjoy bringing yourself down, but please, spare us of it.
If we thought everything you did was crap you wouldn't have 200+ rep.

Seriously, you have A LOT of potential, but you keep making the same mistakes repeatedly.
Practice makes perfect only if you listen to the feedback. :P

more "white" reflections. Gold is metallic after all.

But Erwtenpeller also uses black edges T-T

He's also had over a dozen years of experience at making them look good.

Ok then, I'll try not to use black edges on my future skins -_-"

So trying to make them look like Erwt's won't help then, huh?

For example, let's make a comparison here between Erwt's Sol Ta skin and your current skinning endeavor.

Zoom (requires log in) Zoom (requires log in)

Tell me, where does he use 10 brush size black lines? Nowhere.
He uses black lines to show depth, shadows, and folds.
None of them are imposing, thick, or blurry.

That's probably where the most of your blurriness comes from is those lines.
Seriously, try the skin again without using those and we'll take it from there.

The problem i see in your skins is that you use black borders EVERYWHERE, while erwtenpeller use just on some "strategic" parts of it. You should learn where to use the black edges and where you shouldn´t.
Also, i suggest that you skin something else instead of those werid monsters you do everytime, they all end up really messy and ugly, and i don´t think it helps you improve.

Yea Erwt's skins use black borders/lines to emphasize areas
Your just abusing black lines
