hi, i'm currently planning to create a new AOS and for this i wanted the terrain for both fractions to be as symmetrical as possible i know that you can copy terrain and paste it somewhere else, but to do that for my map i would have to copy one half of the map and turn it around by 180° to paste it, but as far as i know its not possible to turn this copied piece of terrain are there any possibilities to create an absolutely symmetrical map without doing it piece by piece on both sides of the map? |

Actually, you CAN rotate by 180. After selecting 'paste', go back into the menu. There should be options like 'rotate 90 degrees clockwise' and whatnot. |

Actually you cant for half the part, cause turning 90 then 90 degrees will cause the top left of the part to become bottom right of the map. It works, but not if u have a forest at bottom lane and desert at top lane cause when u turn and paste, the forest would be lead into a desert and i must say, that'd actually be good. |

You can just go: Mirror paste vertically, then Mirror paste horizontally. |

thank you all for the help; now i know how i can do it Quote:
yea, i know, but it's an all-desert map and after i copied it i can still change the tiles and some doodads, so the map won't look the same at both sides, but is still symmetrical |
