It is long ago ... I don't have my site, WC3C went down as I finished my first part of the cinematic.

Plz don't critisice on some music i used in there ... i know partually it does not fit good but you know, i did not want to get sued for using licensed music ... it is still the longest and largest cinematic on this world and for sure it needed the most work of all cinematics that are out there ...

I worked 2 years on just this one map, just the german community got it 1 year ago, cuz Wc3C was down as told, this cinematic is totally in english so don't be afraid of loading it from a german site.

Plz post me some messages here how you liked it and so on. The dl-button is in the top right corner!

Here are the last TH screenshots that I promised to show as a tribute.

Enjoy!

It's a shame you only managed to make one part. As much as I remember this cinematic, the production quality was good except for Gandalf's voice acting, but it indeed was rather slow.

It's good, but perhaps you shouldnt have cinematographed each and every line the book has. Skipping some boring parts wouldve been better.

Yeah Gandalfs voice was actually what caused me to simply stop watching it... I couldn't stand listening to a robot.

I watched this cinematic a year ago, I did a search a while ago when I was wondering what happened to it.

I thought it was a brilliant cinematic. Very well made, and I recognized all the lines. The music was very good, especially the mountains song at the party. The one thing I didn't like was the very, very long beginning part where the camara just wanders around in Hobbiton. I wish you had made the rest of the book : \

Yeah I also wished for doing the book, but I just overdid it ... the project was too large to just handle it alone. I had mass ideas how the next parts would go on, I even made some very cool Maps, I guess you guys would like them.

I think at least I should post some pics that have never been showed as a little good bye for TH.

TH was to me an apprenticeship, I learned to get a project done till the end it is needed to know your own limits. TH showed me my limits and after 2 years of hard work (not only on part 1 also on maps for futher parts), I had seen, that I can not manage so much stuff, so thatfor I changed my ways, stopped making TH and startet my career as an author.
Now I study hard in Austria and in my spare time I write a fantasy book.

I am gonna post you some last never seen screens till the next weekend, that is at least what I can do for the WC3 community.

I remember finding this cinematic a long while back. I liked it but as mentioned before Gandalf was just plain annoying and boring and he's really what makes those books so magical.

I also don't have enough time to just sit down and watch such a long movie, perhaps it would have been better to be able to press "escape" and skip certain parts so I wouldn't have to watch the whole thing all over again?

Anyways it was still pretty good. . .+rep!

Absolutely fantastic. The music and voices were great, although Gandalf's was a bit too slow and deep.

The sheer detail in terrain and textures makes this a great cinematic.

Very nice work -- I especially enjoyed Bilbo's voice, lovely acting.

i remember this when it was still a wc3c project, probably the only LOTR/Tolkien project that has ever seen the light of the day.

This was superb! THe terraining and models and sounds were all good.
What got me the most though was the atmosphere of the cinematic. I was really able to feel as if it was in Middle Earth.
