Needs more contrast? |

I'm no artist, but it really is an abominable juxtaposition of colors. I think a deeper, more fel orc-ish red and some black lines/runes/whateveryouwanttocallthems on his face with a deeper purple/blackish beard would look better. His facial features remind me of the baboon guy from The Lion King, which isn't helped by the fact that the colors are baboon-like. The cloak and pants have no contrast whatsoever, while the rest of the skin is all about contrast. His "knees" are invisible, and he has some wierd claw-like things there instead. The green at the top of the staff doesn't fit well with the rest of the skin, even worse than the purple. It's ok if you make a skin black, but at least submit pictures where the background isn't the same color as the lower half of the skin. Lastly, he appears to have no theme whatsoever. It appears as though you picked some colors to mush together, and then decided that he ought to have a black/gold/green staff, which implies a nature theme. Then, you figured you might as well make a grey/smokey cloak just because, even though it wasn't related to the rest of the skin. I would suggest turning it into some sort of fel mage, or maybe a satyr of some sort (if you want to keep the purple). |

Its basically a recolor, and a bad one that that i must say. Allthough some lines are indeed new, it still follows the patterns of the old skins anywhere, but thats good practice. However, the texture is just completely flat, with undynamic lines. But before you can even think of being better at that, you need to learn how to paint digitally, becouse by the looks of it, you have verry rarily done this. |

Yeah, either of them has to be less saturated, if not both of them. I'd also suggest you to make him a bit more interesting... right now its basically a red druid of the talon with runes in the eyes, you should try changing a bit the structure of the face and adding some scary details on it, also try making the beard different and making his body something more than a simple red nude torso. |
