Could you show us the portrait, please?
I like it's cartoonish-style, but it obviously needs some more modifications.
The arms & the chest looks nice enough, but I'm curious to see how you're going to do the cheek/cloak.

Perhaps drop the brown clothes idea and go for a more red and green-ish style? Green like bamboo leafs, for example. Red for some pandaren-samurai bands, no?

The handle of the axes are hawt ^_^ (it's bamboo, right?)
EDIT: I'd say that you are well on your way, Mister. :)

I'll give a portrait shot when I start working on it.

and thanks for the comments Arch, I'll take them into consideration. A beard/mustache might look pretty good, if placed correctly.

It looks a little leathery make it look plush.
