note
this terrain is ment for gameplayablity

is not made to save game space etc..

the combination of the snow and decaying ground is something new i've never seen used before.. however, the entire screenshot seems irritating to look at, it needs to be made softer so it all flows toghether smoothly, but i have not an idea of how to do this with this terrain-style..
perhappes you'd care to explain more of what the project is about?

I agree with Game_Slave. It is a nice choice in the ice+blight but it is indeed missing something. The blighted ground needs more varitiy. EX-In a felwood scene there would be say blight. but not everywhere. there would be some areas with a differn't tile mixed with the blight like dirt or dead leaves. add some snow here and there cause even thou the blight is down dosn't mean snow wont on the blight again right? And the shrubs arn't well used. shurbs wouldn't be something to find up in northrend even if you take away the fact of the blight. try to use something more wintery like this.

The grass should be used in small patches of snow. tint it gray or black for blight
im not a Great terrainer but i know nature and how things should be (i just can't always make that ) The map i think your making looks to have some potential and i hope to see it .

I agree, the combination isn't so great. Try adding some Icecrown glacier doodads and other stuff. I also dunno if snow and felwood sky mix. You could also try to play around with some fog effects.

I like the placements of your doodads, but it dosen't really seem to flow together to good. Also it might look nicer if you wouldn't use the typical blizzard cliffes in the second picture of yours.
