No or totally white alpha channel, presumably. But how to fix that depends on what program you're using. |

I'm using gimp 2-0 to edit the tga and w3 viewer to convert to blp. The alpha channel dosen't seems to be totally white. RGBA appear like the screenshot on a black background |

From my own experience with interface textures, they all seem to have the wrong alpha channel, so I suspect it's some residual error therein. But I can't help you with the GIMP, I'm afraid. |

so i'll submit the textures here hoping someone can fix it with other program than gimp. But Gimp is similar to photoshop (i think) so if you know what to to in photoshop or other program just tell me and then i'll try to manage to fix it with gimp. |

Hmm, the alpha channels on there seem fine. Perhaps try replacing a different race cursor (just to test)? It could be interference with the human cursor being already loaded for the main menu. |

No the problem did not come from the path(i tried). Or maybe i have to modify it at "game interface" i'll chek it now. Edit :No it's not at the game interface |

Something queer is definitely afoot, because I've replaced cursors before in stand-alone maps without problems at all. But I'm damned if I know what's the beef. :/ |

I tried to get a working copy and I found a few strange things. The original human cursor is still hidden in the image some where, and I could not remove it. I tried creating only the image on a new layer, adding an alpha channel, placing the layer on an image that previously worked for me, copying the image to a new image, and 3 different image converters. It seems that Wc3 Viewer wasn't displaying the residue of the original cursor, but Wc3 Image Extractor and Wc3 Model Editor were. Weird enough is that both the .tga and the .blp suffered from this. This shows that it has nothing to do with the image converters, but the image itself. This is where my knowledge fails me. I would try making the cursor again (don't copy and paste this one) in a new document. Delete the original cursor first before making it. Good luck. |
