My LOTR skins(ReNuG@!D)

Ok if ur working on the lotr mod at modz.etc, you'll know me as Renugaid.

Anyway, Ill post images of all my current lotr skins.



my very first successful skin, as u can see, its an uruk-hai.(thanx to ZZzz for the Kimahri model:D )



here u see Gandalf the white mounted on shadowfax. (made shadowfax have no saddle or harness and made him a silvery color so that he did not blend into Gandalf) and theres Gimli.



An uruk hai berserker, just needs the flames.



and last but not least my aragorn skin.

what do you think? Ive been seeing all these LOTR skins popping up and i wanted to see how mine rated. Most of these skins will be used in the lotr mod.

ok both of you stop complaining about posts. i did too at first, but guess what? It doesn't help, unfortunetly. I like your skins, but the Orcs do seem like recolors to me, still good though. Gandolf needs work on his clothes. The eye is sucky because its green and its not a unit. Aragon is ok, fix the sword though. Gimli is fine, but it doesn't really look like Gimli. Did i forget one? No, k good. :D

EDIT: I meant to say that the eye you made has green and Sauron's eye (not sure how to spell Sauron) is yellow, black, with red on sides and orange, blend little buddy!

the uruk-hais face just has a white hand print(turned out like war paint though) i added the armour(not a recolor)and the berserker is un old pic. the new one has no flag and no side leg armour(dont know what else to call it).

Gandalfs clothes, i made them as white as i could without making it look plain.

What do u think Gimli should look like Cheloheadman? ive looked at the movie one and the one from the official lotr fotr video game and they look totally different. Ive tried to blend both of the looks (from movie and video game) into one.:D

The eye os Sauron isnt meant to be a unit. I used the sentryward as the model and alphad out the staff. Its supposed to be a visual used in cinematics and attached to the tower of barad dur. Ill try and take out the green part though.

Aragorn needs a new model for his sword. unfortunately i cant remodel until i get 3ds max. sigh.:bgrun:

ok let me say that the WC3 engine is gay. It is a terrible engine and makes all skins look crappier. It also destroys hard worked textures. When you put pure or almost pure white on a skin it turns out terrible in WC3. So instead of using white, use a light shade of gray. Then lighten with dodge, and darken with burn to fix some of the clothing issues. Also, about Gimli, i was babbling because there is no real way to make an MK into gimli w/o some good old model edit. :D

i like da 1st uruk hai skin... n da mk isnt that bad (what about his animations? without his hammer he's goin to attack with his hands!). i still preffer my aragorn hehe:gsmile: n dunno, if u'r goin 2 give ur gandalf 2 sentinei i won't make it. please reply this asap

U can make one for sentinei if u want. I still need to make minor changes to mine. And the mountain kings animations are still good, one slap one slice:D

And your aragorn is awesome!....CAN WE USE IT IN THE MOD?! PLEASE??! Well put u in the credits. unless of course u wanna join us. And can we change it abit? like the goatee is too thin. He needs a thicker goatee. id still like to use my skin as strider but yours can be used after rivendell when he gets the reforged anduril! what do u say?

i think that the bandit model could be very useful for gimli. just try to compare the bandit model and gimli from the movie and you will see that, with your skinning talent, gimli could be awesome on a bandit model:D

hmm how does the eye of sauron look like? I can hlelp you maybe with the flamestuff.

Ya know Dre, I just can't see what is so great about the bandit for Gimli. The bandit has no beard, a puny axe, a shield emote_sweat and then a basic human build.

Bigmig's MK version is better than any bandit one could be. It looks alot like the picture that was posted somewhere here awhile back.

Only thing that I'd do to Gimli would be to darken his beard a bit, and put some more texture on his armor. You COULD steal the textures from the bandit actually.

PS: The Urak Hai looks awesome, and I don't even care if the pain is wrong lol.
