Apologies if this is in the wrong section. I have DL'ed anemicroyalty's Draenei paladin model from the following link: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=90568. I renamed the path on the .mdx and .blp to remove the wc3mapsimported\. But I still only see a shadow when I try to import the model and use it. Two other models that had no .blp skin were imported perfectly fine as well as a skin. I have a feeling the file extension is wrong. Any suggestions. Thanks ahead of time. |

The problem I'm talking about occurs in game. I'm aware that imported models don't show up in the editor. Problem is that the model just shows a shadow. If you look at anemicroyalty's files, they do not have consistent names (DraneiPaladin.mdx, Dranei_Portrait.mdx, Dranei Paladin.blp). That is why I think its uploading the model but not the skin, or anything else. |

I've downloaded the same model and I ain't getting any problems with it, the model & the portrait model work just fine. Although I've experienced a similar problem with other models as well. I import the model, change the path in the import manager as they should be, save, quit worldedit and then reload. Well with some models I get a worldedit message displaying "can't load xxx.mdl" or "can't load xxx.mdx", I'm not sure why this is happening, and to be honest I don't make that much of a fuss, pick another model and move on... anyway, try downloading the model again, and reinstalling it. That helped me... once. Otherwise I'm running out of ideas |

Check the mdl file and make sure you have the right path for the skin. |
