Hello i have a question regarding the website's BB code. Its the Trigger / Jass code im interested at. Is this code created:
I personally think a board full of programmers, its been created here. But i guess its worth a try to ask where it came from. If its #2, could i perhaps have a link to the website? Our clan runs an official version of this same board, although the version we run is a bit newer. We are a map making clan and the plugins as these would be very useful. However, if these plugins where created here, forget this topic was ever created. We have 2 good web designers in the clan aswell, we are currently making a fully customized skin for the board. But snatching the base of something like this could improve the rate of the forums development. |

I'm pretty sure it was developed by Vex (GUI ones anyway, jass may just be some modified stock syntax highlighting). |

I know Vex was releasing JASS syntax highlighting code... not sure about the trigger, but a guy on wc3anvil (Pirho) made his own version of trigger bbcode |

The GUI one was created by him, i remember him talking about it. The Jass one was most probally too, he might have used Vim for it. He has jass.vim and vexorian.vim which are both highlighting files in his sig. |

I made both. Using vim to make the [jass] one would have been cute but back then I didn't know about vim. I don't know how would I make php do it. And the whole file operations would have probably been slower than my manual parsing of it |

Thanks for your reply. Alright, then i'm up for the quest of the jass one, but i'm not sure howto do the one. However, i'm sure one of our web designers can figure that out. |
