Story:

When the tides of darkness came, the nightmare plague spread throughout Lordaeron. At the far end borders of Lordaeron, the first village became a victim of the plague. The villagers joined the forces of the dead, deceived and possesed by the evil ghosts. Lordaeron king, Athemur decides to cleanse the land of ghosts, the scourged, and vile places. He sends a dispatch to search for brave heroes who are brave and strong enough to face the fear and darkness. None can withstand the plague, few convert into the living dead. When one final dispatch was sent, king Athemur recruited a weird and interesting team. A team that themselve label as GEAR. They are fascinating, they are the combination of a force which master the arts of Magic and Machinery. They are known to Northlanders the Longblum Beards and Pricks. But the demonstration of their skills amazed the king that without doubt he sends them to the far ends. As they proceed with their mission, rumours spread of their success. They pushed the corruption untill the ends of Northrend. They do not know what lies beneath the soils of Northrend. They encountered the Witch King of Nerzu, the one who likes to riddle the words of his spells. He deceived the goblins who place gold beyond anything else. The GEAR goblins were bribed to kill the other Dwarves. At the ends of Northrend, begun the war within GEAR itself.

Gameplay:
Arena, Capture Points with tickets


The map is playable for 6-10 players, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5
Players can choose 24 different heroes. Each are goblins or dwarves.
The two teams, Dwarf and Goblins must capture the most points in order to win. Tickets gradually reduce every time, but by capturing the points, it will slow down the rate.
Players can pick game modes; -ap -ar -dm -np -sm -lm and so on as the map will progress.
There are no creeps at this game, but when a hero does not move, only standing on a blighted area, with the conditions that there are no enemies in range, ghosts and zombies will pop out from the ground.
Players must craft their own spells for their hero, by selecting 4 spells from a selection of 12 different spells for each hero.
The winner of the game can -save the game and store their medal points which is id authenticated. Medal points are earned by winning games, 1/2 earned for being the best player by means of capturing the most points or having the most kills.
Heroes can ride vehicles.


Mini-custom features:



We are collecting a bunch of sounds from Flashpoint operation, Battlefield 2, and other FPS games. Well lets just imagine that in the beginning of the game, you are in the midst of a Haunted village at the same time being in a battlefield. You're commander orders you to move, he says "Move out!"... "GoGo2", "Fall back!", "Units take cover!". Heh you know those stuff. The sounds will work this thing out...

We have just finnish the terrain and triggers, so I'm giving you guys a peek, with the USM Satelite View of the terrain; Bitcreek's Winter Assault

We are moving towards making objects and by then we will start beta testing...

This site does not support ripping of content from other games.

Also, I'm curious how this game fits in the wc3 lore... I mean, judging by the names of places it does take place in the warcraft world, but the name of the king of lordaeron is incorrect for the time of the undead invasion.

This has nothing to do with undead invasion... its a new story and new fantasy. If you wan't to know how it fits wc3, read the whole story...

About the ripping of content, if that is not the best way tell me another way because I've been researching over the internet for sound files that we need.

You need your own custom sounds for that, using sounds from those games is theft and therefore, illegal.

EDIT : Since the name has 'Ghost' in it, shouldn't there be more ghosts? The name says "Ghost Encounter Assault Recon", so I assumed that it's a game where you fight ghosts and things, I just discovered that it's a BF kind of gameplay after reading..

Then why does it bear so many similarities to the warcraft storyline? Lordaeron, Northrend, the plague...

Lordaeron and Northrend is not part of the Warcraft storyline... It is part of the world. You can argue with many gamers and map makers which uses the name Lordaeron and Azeroth, and does not follow the wc3 storyline. The nightmare plague is not the Undead plague, it is the plague that is brought by a ritual performed by 4 Darknic Wizards.

Yes in this game you encounter ghosts. The gameplay does not mean this game is a typical battlefield, the theme is different. It is already mentioned that the nightmare plague spreads the disease that turns the living into ghosts and zombies. Those are the neutral forces of the game.

For that ghost thingy I think you should have a viral infection system, at start you have 0% viral infection, and depending on what type of character, grows in time. Just like that shit on Resident Evil outbreak, if you get attacked your infection rate gets higher until it reaches a 100 and you become a xombee!

There is the Nightmare disease. If the ghosts attack you, there is a 10% chance you might get infected and when you do, your regeneration rate and armor is reduced, your character also becomes less visible. Maybe we can implement that rate thingy which turns the character completely into a ghost form when the rate becomes 100. The ghost form will have disadvantages, but also advantages.
