This is for a map that I'd consider to be upon my über splash of any creation I've made but... there is one slight dilemma which holds the entire progress back. 1. How can you create a hero-structure? That's part one... 2. How can you create an ancient (like uproot and walk away) type hero-structure so that it can act like an ancient and a hero? And... 3. How can you make it so that uproot acts in a fashion that it retains all abilities and stuff. Help with this would be muchly appreciated. |

1. I have never done this, but check blizz TD (part of normal patch download) for this. They have 3 hero towers you can use as basis. 2. I would assume you add "root" to their list of abilities 3. Check to see how normal ancient root spells work. I would guess that they would have a reference for the unit it becomes while rooted and unrooted (i.e. in a seperate part there is a "rooted ancient" unit and "unrooted ancient" unit), and just modify what units it becomes. If not, consider making a trigger that adds and removes abilities when it casts the root ability. To be honest I'm not apt on these spells at all, but #1 is true, and I would investigate to see how root actually works. |
