Recoloured Infernals

I just recoloured some Infernals for my map, (including particle emmitors and geoset animations), so the fingers and flames are properly recoloured. Someone may have a use of them in their map, so I thought i woould submit them

Credit goes to blizzard for the original Infernal Models, each Model requires one custom texture + the potrait version of the MDX

UPDATE
I forgot about changing the particle emmitors for the Ice Infernal Portrait, has been fixed and re-uploaded

Here are the screenshots of the Infernals

Anything.
  • Model edits are allowed as long as the model is changed significantly.
  • The art must be at least 75% original work by yourself. This means freehand graphics; not copy/pasting, filters or colour manipulation.

It would be better if you used in-game textures for the models.

If you're going to reimport the infernals to change the color of their emitters, at the very least change the texture on the particles so they don't look identical to the WC3 one.

Would it be more efficient just to have a white infernal which can be then tinted to any color?

You should try taking for example the second one and instead of using another skin rewrap it so it uses the firelord texture, it would be much more interesting

Word, what Vex said...

Anyway, since these are just recolours, and use custom textures when they dont need any makes them useless, geosets can also be recoloured in the model without touching the texture.

I only posted the Infernals here because someone might have a use out of it, im not claiming that i created the model myself. Although these might just be recoloures I don't see how it is any different to someone slightly modifiying a skin and then posting their version of the model

I just updated the post, I forgot to change the Ice Infernal portrait. I will later today (or tommorow) upload the recoloured Meteor effects that you see in 'Reign Of Chaos'.

Although you dont have to use custom textures and you can just tint, i just uploaded the textures for people that might have trouble editing it themselves.

And like Callahan has mentioned, another Infernal has been approved with just a slightly different skin, I really don't see how it is any different

I will either try that tonight or today, im not sure how the infernal will turn out though because the firelord texture has no flaming rock colours

The point is that anyone can recolour, if you can't, why are you even modding..
As for that other infernal it had an interesting new uh..."rock" texture. Though I don't think it was 75% changed, it's still not just a recolour.

oh I know!!! in slightly moddifying one is recolouring(or cnping if it is not there own work) the simple fact is that here a skin must be very different from the original to be accepted. oh and when someone changes a skin they arent changing a model.
