Is there a way i can find every attachment point for any given unit? I do have a general guide that shows basic attachment points and their modifiers for common units.. but i'm looking for something more specific. I need to know every single attachment point that exist for certain units. is there any such resource? also, for 4 legged creatures how do you attach stuff to the rear legs? |

To find all attachment point for a model (and the names at the same time), use Magos' model editor. http://magos.thejefffiles.com/War3ModelEditor/ |

Unfortunately there is no resource of this kind, but you can get that information by yourself easily.
I hope this can help you :) About the four legged units, it's probably that they don't have this kind of attachments. You can add them with this tool though. |

Which model are you looking at? I had a look at archmage and I get these ones: (you leave the ref off to get the name you use) Foot Left Foot Right Foot Left Rear Foot Right Rear |

I've tried and I am not able to attach anything to the back legs of the ToL. Basically it seems like Blizz nubbed out when doing that model. If you're desperate you can always rename those attach points and import the model, but it'd waste a fair bit of file size. |

ah, figures. they should patch that. =P blah i tried looking into importing it and the filesize would be too huge. like around 350kb i think. roughly edit> hm. what about triggers and flags. can you have a trigger set an ID to it and change the id somehow? |

Well after squishing and mdx compression it would add ~120kb to your map (a bit less if you use Vex's optimizer). As to your edit, I'm not really sure what you are trying to say. You can't access and change stuff in models with triggers though (or references to them). |
