Goofs Thread

Hey folks,

Through the course of making this mod there have been some pretty stupid mistakes or oversights made with some pretty funny or at least bizzare results.

In this thread, we're going to post a few of those such events.

To start us off, we have tonight's goof. I loaded up the first orc mission to make sure the quest triggers were all done, and what do I remember... I don't have the DoC MPQ in!

Well, back when I started working on the Llane texture: at some point I took a screenshot of the UW and croped it out afterwards, saved it and went to the kitchen to make some dinner. When I had enough to eat, I wanted to continue working on the texture, so I sat down and started working again.

After 10 minutes I noticed that it wasn't the .TGA file I was working with, it was the darn screenshot of the UW *Sigh*

The_Skullpitter	These aren't as fun as John's pictorial ones, but all of us have done something stupid once in a while. When I wrote the DoC timeline, I put Llanden Wrynn's birth as happening a year before his brother Llane's. Llane is the King of Azeroth. Later on John even asked me "Is Llanden Llane's older brother?" Think about it for a moment.

So, for some reason the orc barracks decided it liked the look of the human barracks skin and stole it.

It looks decent, actually. But the orc version is 10 times better.
