All the good models I get to find have a very large size, mostly 300-500 kbs, but how come AotZ uses that 300kb Dwarf but still has a size of like 2mb? Can someone tell me where to get a compressor for models? MDXSquisher doesn't work for me |

YES SUR! @Earth-Fury Oh I didn't know that.. Thanks but umm, I tested it out, I imported both squished and unsquished. Same size.. :/ EDIT: Wait just a darn minute, I never saved when I tested! DOUBLE EDIT : Umm, it just won't work for me. The readme doesn't fully explain it, can anyone explain it to me? ![]() |

perhaps the model you want to squish is already squished.. |

Hmm.. I really just want to know the steps on how to squish, it's still the same size for me.. |

Ok, either the model has already been squished or you haven't read the thread (or you have and you are illiterate). |

The readme just says use squisher and browse for the model. I squished an unsquished model, still the same. Would you mind telling me what you do with this thing? |

Squish the model, import it into your map, and see the size drop. |

I've already read the thread for 15 times! @Earth-Fury: That's just how I do it, but I don't "see the size drop". No matter what model I squish. |

You obviously haven't, because your exact question is asked and answered twice in the thread. Squish your model, import both the squished version and the original into an mpq. Open with an mpq viewer and note the difference in compression %. |

Noone ever told me to use PowerMPQ and view it! Anyways, if it is lower when you view it with PowerMPQ, would the map's size decrease? Because it's still the same when I checked the import manager :P |
