Over the past month or so, I have had major troubles visiting the pages here at WC3Campaigns. Countless times have I attempted to return but have been rejected with a message saying that the server cannot be found. It makes no sense to me as I know you guys are here, and I can load most any other page. I was curious if there were anything anyone could tell me, either why it is happening, or how I may fix it. To be assured of contact, you may wish to both post here and email me. ~Devouring-One |

Maybe you're using .com, not .net? |

No, its not that. I have a bookmark that is directly to the forums here. I used it to get here this most recent time, so its not that. Also, when I manually type it in, I use '.net', It may be something screwy with our internet, but I am unsure. It seems to be acting a might bit queer recently... taking a few seconds to begin loading pages on occasion, but once it does begin, it tends to go at its normal speed. ~Devouring-One |

Probably your ISP, browser, cookie settings, or firewall/pop-up blocker/etc. |

Gah! Whatever it is, it is extremely annoying and problematic. Today I tried to get on at 11:30 something and kept trying and finally got on about two hours ago (around three). I think you are right, it is probably my ISP. >_> Thanks for what you have been able to offer me, I think it may be up to us on this end to completely fix this thing, ~Devouring-One |

... If you changed your host file it might be a good idea to remove that entry since the IP has changed. Else you are having DNS issues, you are the only person that had this problem this month at least the only one reporting it. |

My router has ben fucking up lately too. I had to buy a new one, which worked for awile, then that stopped working and I got another. It began by running slowly, then losing connection for minutes at a time, then hours, then it died. I found if it stopped running quickly restarting your router (Unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug in) fixes that. Or else do the same, but do (Unplug Router, Unplug Modem, wait 10 seconds, Replug modem, wait till all light but 1 are green, plug in router, fixed!) |
