Questions about Zooming Out...

Is it normal when I zoom out of WE I get this black mask(I don't know what its called) and I can't see the terrain.

Is there an option to remove that black mask so I can get a good overview of some parts of my map.

Hold shift and scroll your mouse-wheel. That is the FarZ and it's where the camera stops rendering the game. Normally fog ends before this point, so you don't notice it in-game.
