I need to know if it is possible to put a custom tileset into a map. Is it possible to mess with the texture, to make it look more futuristic, etc? And if its possible, is it able to be played online? Thats all I wanted to know |

Yes, you can patch terrain textures in the map just as you can patch anything else. |

Use Zepir's Map Edito, It allows you to make a map wth the whole bunch of terrain textures in the game (even the value exceeds 12). Yeah Useful for RPG (I make some with almost 30 tiles) YEAH:D |

Guest | Where can I get that editor? And how does it work? Is it a patch for the map editor, or a seperate program, or what? |

Zepir is a moderator in War 3 Pub , so I guess I downloaded the file from there. It's a third party program (it's pretty much like paint) but it allows you to do powerful things like editing pahing, shadows and, in my case, making 480x480 maps with 30 tiles, so I can make from Mordor to Wonderland in one map. It has a bug with cliffs, thought, if U make a map based on Lordaeron Summer it only has Lordaeron Summer's two cliff types, even if there are like 8 shown (don't work right) Have fun :p |

.....the downloads part of war3pub isnt working. I cant get in to it and see the downloads available. Shoot, and I was gettin close.....But i think i know how to make a tileset easy. Ill just take a terrain texture from starcraft, and call it a high tech textile. I hope it works the same on war3. |

I am getting really freakishly mad now.......War3pub is not working, what-so-ever. I have tryed and tryed to get to the downloads page of that site and it just wont work for beans. Every time I click on any link to that site, I the homepage refreshes, and its like nothing even happend. Could someone please post a direct link to Zepir's Map Editor? Cause it would really help me out a LOT. emote_sweat ://// Thanks guys |

Zepir's map editor is available on this site: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/download...titleA&show=10 or just go to http://www.wc3campaigns.com/ and click on the download at the top, page two. It's called "War3 Map Editor Beta 8 - by Zepir" |

meh, screw making tilesets, i just want to know these 3 things. 1.) how to add more than 8 textiles. 2.) do they work on previously built maps? so that i dont have to redo my work 3.) do maps with extra textiles work on battle.net? I just need clarification. Im really confused at this point. |
