It's been more than 3 years (almost 4) since I've been on this prosperous community. I could see it growing, pass through a major decline, and rise from its ashes, led by a great administration team. I'm refering of course to Tim, Vex and Whitehorn. I can say that being here has helped me refine my skills and bring them to a higher level, whether it was in the area of modelling or spellmaking. But I am afraid that my time in the world of warcraft has ended, and it's time to get past it, and move on with my life. Yes, the rumours about RotHE are true, and I am deeply embarassed to say that the project is no longer under my leadership. I doubt that anyone is eager to continue with it, unfortunately, and therefore, I fear that it is time to say goodbye to a promising project. Reason? Well... probably the fact that I lacked a stable team. The team has fluctuated a lot, I haven't been able to focus strictly on the project, and I mostly had to attempt and learn a lot of things by myself (modelling, spellmaking etc.). I am blaming myself for not being able to attract interest into the project, and getting a stable team from the beginning. I'm sorry for the work that has been invested in this project, and for the trust Wc3c has shown to me, in the hope that I will finish the promising mod, which I have not appreciated enough. Thank you wc3c for all the great moments. You may see me around, from time to time, but my activity shall decrease dramatically, and I shall probably no longer upload any new resources, as I will stop modding for warcraft, and focus on other aspects of computer science & graphics. I wish the community a lot of successes and great moments. Your's truly, Daelin Silverwing P.S: Sorry for posting this in site discussions but I didn't know where else to submit it (okay, maybe off-topic) and as it involved RotHE too, I found it the best cattegory. ![]() |

Sneeze! What a tremendous loss for the Warcraft 3 Modding communities :( Farewell, friend. I look forward to the recounting of your jouney’s tale. May the seas be calm and the wind steady in your sails on your road ahead :P Best Regards, Archian. |

Why do people act so gay when they quit a mod or leave a forum? Its not real life... just admit it, your just were too lazy to finish the mod and got bored of it. What do you think happens to most projects? Hmmm.... you dont have to apologize for anything, you did nothing wrong. But true computer science and programming is sexy, I do it and make about $2000+ a month, and look at me, still on these damn off topic forums. |

At least you will be known in the Warcraft III modding community until the final modder decides to stop, because you've done a lot in the time you've been here and at search. Take care dude. |
