Powerups not working?

Played a game on Stronghold.

I acquired atleast 3 powerups myself and my brother about 2, none worked?

Were you holding the flag?

Yeah, if you have the flag, powerups don't work period, untill you drop the flag

Also, I thought I should say, if you drop flag, grab the increase HP thing, then repickup flag, you'll have more HP than you did before you dropped flag.

I'll save a Replay and show you, unless someone else has one.
