Well these are some WIP's from my cinematic in which I will not discuss the story line at this point.

I know everyone can point one thing thats one thing wrong with this first picture , I'm looking for the average overall criticizing . Notice this one focus on more on buildings my next one when I finish the detail a bit more will be a forest scenery.

I have uploaded one so far more will come along the way.. and I must say Thanks to Born2Modificate as well.

ADDING MORE TOMORROW and so on FYI... such as my forest/mountain scenery

Its really nice. The only thing it lacks is enough doodads in the center area of the pic.

Yeah its a walk way , I will add some grass there. I must say that This is not much of terrain as it is just doodads , but I will post my forest a bit later

Actually it's nice. Too bad only a few skilled terrainers used my high res pack. :/

To be honest I'm happy that not everyone uses your models, it would start to look really repetitive over time.
It's of course not your fault, it's just that you can barely mix them with other models (especially the houses/walls) and you can't modify (change the color) them very much because of their "realistic" look.

Take Ratac's screen for example, it looks nice and all but somehow I have the feeling that I've seen it before.

So yeah, release those new models already! =P

I thought I'd just say that doodads alone don't make the terrain. A terrain does not need many doodads to be good, and personally I don't think there is any doodad that would fit the dirt tile of the center.

Very good, Ratac.

$50 says you can't make me a good terrain without using doodads.

That's not what I said. What I said was that doodads alone don't make the terrain. They are an important feature, yes, but should not be overused or used in places where they do not help the terrain and only serve to make it cluttered.

Exactly >.<
When I imagine a dirt/stone path I see plants and grass patches, etc. on it, not a bare path.
