Smiley contest voting

You can vote for one or for all of them, it is up to you, just notice that if you vote for all of them your vote is actually null.

In order to ensure a lot of votes, poll will be open for 2 weeks.

What we really need are some smileys that are actually useable as smileys, like deviantart.com has TONS, most of which are useable. Most of these are just random faces that serve no purpose, like the troll one we currently have. Again, most of the ones up there have no emotional value, and I see no purpose for them.

Is this the best all of you could do? Only thing good enough is the beer and the panda. All the rest .. *thumbs down*

I'd like to thank you for your awesome submissions but I don't see any, the best way to have a better world is to at least try to improve it, complaining is probably the worst. And if you only like 2 of them, vote for them! Democracy in action!

That's an overstatement.

The pandaren gets my vote, mostly because its already feels like a classic, and it actually displays emotions.

The murloc gets my vote because its high quality, and it rolls its eyes. Which is an emote we needed.

The beer bottle (with the bubbles) gets my vote because it can imply someone is drunk. Something that'll be very useful in off-topic.

The orc hand with the beer keg gets my vote because it feels like the emotes we already have.

The "love" elf gets my vote because it expresses something and is great quality.


GREAT entries. But for the next contest, I'd suggest submitters to actually use emotion in their emotes, and overall put more effort, since the five first are absolute crap, and some others are almost as bad.
However the peon emotes do look decent, but again not emotional enough.
Rifleman serves very little purpose. Its great, but not an emote.

I voted for the dwarf. It's the only one I'd use in any of my posts.

The other ones... I do not like. The pandaren looks usable, but I would not use it... looks like a cat... Grrrr...

I'm just wondering what happened to my chef? (not that it's any good really, but still) And it occurs to me that I probably should've chosen one of the two beer mug emotes for the contest, but that's in hindsight. *sigh*

The Archmage one is just plain...cartoon-ish. No offense whoever made that.

bah there are two beer ones, I really like the orc laughing one and we dont really have 1 like that hope that gets in. But the top 5 right now is:

The glass of beer would be #3 if people hadn't split their votes between the big and small sizes :P
