Unite without weapons Skins

I have a map where I attach left and right hand items.
I know there has got to be regular units skins w/o thier weapons. Anyone know where I can find them?

Regular units (Footman, Grunts, archers, ect w/o weapons)

if you alpha out the weapons every custom mdl which uses the same texture will disappear too. including the swords you want to attach.

i guess if i am not totally wrong, you have to edit some models or get someone who does...

I believe that creating units without certain parts is as simple as downloading a few programs. Vertex modifier, I think, can erase certain parts of a model.
