Human Mage

So I decided to do a fun simple model. A Human mage inspired on the look of Wc1 mages. It's still not done.. im thinking of adding a rune on the backside of his cloak similar to the sorceress.

I just wanted to hear some thoughts on it, what you like what you dont like. What you would like to see.

Shoot.

Great! No runes or other stuff like that, let it be old-school. Really like it.

EDIT It's a Conjurer in WC1 btw :P

Heres a fun pic.. "Conjurers".. having a reunion discussing why during polimorph they chose sheep instead of the traditional frog.

Obviously the purple guy isnt paying attention.

On a serious note though. You think the lower part of the dress/cape.. should be brought in a little so it doesnt drape so much on the floor?

well, mine looks kinda more like the wc1 one :P

Even though, mine is completely crappy, in those times I didn't even know how to geoset merge.

About this model, you should try changing the team color so it won't be unshaded, I know blizzard keeps it always that way, but sometimes (mainly when most of the model is team colored) is better not to make it unshaded, also you could try making the robe a bit less massive on the floor part as you said, even though I don't think that is completely needed.

Yeah I think I remember seeing that in Wc3search but with all their jumbled jump stuff.. It's hard to keep track of it.

I thought I do this for the hell of it.. i don't think its a worthy of submission.

Even so.... Yeah totally, MC. The team coloring is whats bothering me the most.. Yeah "bliz" always kept it unshaded, but when it's shaded then it becomes too (dull) opaque. I'll mess around with it a bit more.. Something just doesnt look right to me.

Then, considering it uses a custom texture, you could make the alpha less black, I think that way it could look better.

Yeah thats what I did, I added more shade to it.. and it does look a load better. I also reduced the drapping a bit and added thicker trim so it would'nt have such a large area of "team coloured cloak".
