Making an upgrade to increase an ability level.

Hi people. I need help making and upgrade to increase an ability level, not giving an ability to unit. The unit already has the ability at level 1 by default, but i want it to be improved by an upgrade to level 2 ( by the way is my fel orc shaman upgrade, it´s a custom upgrade and i´ve already set it to work with the custom unit.)

Ok, in the upgrades section, you have the upgrades (duh)...

Then there's something like...

Data - Effect 1 - Blah
Data - Effect 2 - Blah
Data - Effect 3 - Blah
Data - Effect 4 - Blah
___________________

Now here's what it should look like if you want it to level up an ability:

Data - Effect 1 - Ability Level Bonus
Data - Effect 1 - Ability Level Bonus - Increment (X)
Data - Effect 1 - Ability Afflicted - YourAbilityHere
Data - Effect 1 - Ability Level Bonus - Base (X)

is there a way to make it work only when upgrading for the second time ? and the X is how much i want it to upgrade or the level i want it to be ?

I believe the X is the increment, not the level. And you can always make it upgrade only on the second time by adding the Ability Level Bonus as an effect of the second level of the upgrade.

With a little triggers, it will do the trick.

take a look at shaman training upgrade.
you can´t choose what happens at what level. the tricky in the abilitys is that they have a techtree to one of the upgrades.... but i don´t know how to upgrade a ability that the unit already has.

about those triggers, can you give me an example ?

My non-triggered basic thingy lets you level them for resources... and that's probably what you're looking for...

Actually, if you make the base effect 0 and the increment 1, it shouldn't level until the second upgrade, if memory serves.
