Serenity (Pandaren finished)

So, posted a WIP of this last friday, now got myself to finish it. Still, nothing too original, but I kinda wanted to get that vision out of my system :) Hope you like it.

Made freehand in photoshop with mouse from scratch.

A bit simple Background, but none the less very nice :)
Especially the expression of his face is very ... moony and meditative

I kind of like the way the background is now, and the panda is awesome

Love it, The Panda looks awesome. But the Background could be made Better.

His robes could have used a little more attention, some more folds, some pattern or texture to it, it now looks a little too bland compared with the lushness of his fur and sword.

Yeah, that might be so. Thanks, now I can notice that next time I do something. As for the background, I wanted it to be simple. It's calm night, with nothing but a whisper of wind across the plains. So there would be no clouds and if I made some action there it would have drawn the attention from the main thing here.

Of course I would have made some more plains at a distance, but that would have ruined the little hill look there's now :) I dunno if I'm lazy or right... You decide :D

I still can't believe you did that with a mouse.. particularly the fur and strands of grass would be so damn hard without a tablet.

Yeah, but I just haven't got enough spare money to put on a tablet. I am planning to get one sometime soon, since it would really fasten things up. And there's always those irritating problems with mouse drawing, when it's moving and when it's not moving etc..
