Pancakes!

My first model, done in gmax. I know I still need to weld verticies along that one edge, but do you think it looks enough like pancakes? I know, I'll fix that thingy in the texture, it was from one of those sites who watermarks everything. I'll fix it up later in PS.

Maybe I'm going to make a food set

Question: I can't figure out how to make bones go along Z axis, as when I try to place one it goes on the XY mode thingy. Do I just rotate it up or what?

I saw that one too, but it's too orange, and there's no syrup!

People...stop posting your freakin first models. No one really cares and you're not proving anything. And no one can give you tips because you don't know enough and you won't understand them, and if you will you will wrongly.

As a side note, for the bone thing, make it in the left, right, front or back viewport.

Well, it looks... ok.
It's like... an extruded cylinder, and that's pretty hard to critizise I must say.
