Introduction: Hello, lately I've been working on a bunch of mods, but ever since my own computer's harddrive crashed, most of my projects have been put to a halt and basicly were lost as far as I know. However I have started working on a new map that will be multiplayer and a First Person Shooter... Literally! I've been working with another CS map "De_Westhill" but it too was lost in the harddrive crash, and to raise your spirits, it actually had a strong ACTUAL First Person Shooter view and controlability and stability. Features: -Leaderboard. [Done] -Firstperson view. [Done, but buggy] -Announcements such as "First Blood!" and "Godlike!". [Done] -Keyboard movement. [Done] -Special Effects such as Flashbangs and Smoke Grenades. -Auto Team Balancing (If game allows) -10 rounds until game ends. [Done] -Teams are 6vs6 (12) [Done] -Jumping And Crouching enabled! (If possible) [Under-Construction] -Custom UI. -Buy Menu (JASSer required!) -Crosshair. [Looking for someone to make one.] And much, much, more! Triggerers/JASSers, Modellers, Skinners, etc. will get 100% credit for their work and will be mentioned in the quest log and in the editor. I am currently terraining the map solo, and plan to keep it that way. I just need people to help me trigger/JASS it really. Modellers and Skinners are not required, but handy. I have revamped the terrain of this map and I am now making this map into "de_aztec", a map set in the aztec ruins and terrorists have decided to destroy it all. And due to this act, the Counter-Terrorists have been dispatched into the ruins to defend the ruins and disable the bomb(s) and kill the terrorists. Current Team: Terrainer: Craka_J Triggerers/JASSers: Gimme_My_Bone Models/Skins: M G, Jumbo_Pie, -=Emergenzy=-, Mc !, and more to be announced... Positions Open: ![]() Need someone to make a custom UI, Crosshair(To apear in the middle of screen ingame, Loading Screen, and possibly someone to help me get CS sounds. FPSes in WC3 don't work. My advice is don't. Don't try and force twitch gameplay onto a non-twitch engine. And aiming just isn't going to be anywhere near as good as an actual FPS. |

Plus, you can't actually do this yourself, so why should someone do the work for you to release it in your name? |

i dont get it. why dont you just play real cs? dont try remaking cs with the wc3 engine that will probably suck. |

No, no, no, I had[ the FPS view, but the map was lost, therefore I no longer have it. And my triggerer has quit WC3 and left my project triggerless basicly. |

Who says I quit wc3? I'll check if I still have the map somewhere, but as stated previously its kak hard to trigger a quality FPS map for wc3. |

I really hope you still have the map. If you do, please email me it. Or finish the triggers on it and then email it :P whatever you prefer. PS: Is it true that singleplayer maps with arrow movement is FASTER responsive than the Bnet arrow movement maps? Please reply because if it is true, I might make a HL2 map instead since that seems more possible and easier to do. :) |

If you're gonna make a CS-like map for WC3, take a look at how WC3 was used in CS. Instead of completely re-designing the game, they took some of the definitive elements and added to gameplay. If you ask me, the place to start would be some sort of ammo system that still allowed you to attack responsively. ![]() |
