Gmax help needed. Building models to be made.

I finally got gmax it is version 1.2 and I want to make my wowish High elf buildings with it. But I don't really know how to make models from scratch being that most of my experience is with geomerging (God bless oinkerwinkle).

I don't know how to animate and the interface is a little confusing and magos's tutorial did'nt help me as much as I hoped.

So can anyone help me with this project.

I know gmax scripts are buggy or incomplete, you'd better try to get 3ds 5 or milkshape. In alternative take a look to:

How to rig a model in notepad\magos' editor\vertex modifier.

I tried to get milkshape but I actually had to purchase it in order to save. And 3ds is way out of my budget.

Maybe I could help? I've made a model with gmax (see my crappy pancake model), not very good yet, but if they're only buildings, they can't be that hard, can they?

I've also done a hilariously screwed up (but I did it intentionally) animation for the pancake too.

(If you need any screenshots from WoW my friend plays it like 4 hrs a day O_o, I could ask him to get some for ya)

Magos' tut is easy.

Sure, a little confusing at first, but try following along.

Make something simple, like a '?' cube.

I did use a tutorial I found on another site and made a mace but I shall try.
