Exactly. 2.7MB each x 5 = 13.5MB.

5 jpegs would onlytake up a couple hundred KB.

I downloaded just to humor you.

Pro:
• The "crowds" area is nice.

Cons:
• Please, please, please don't use boxy terrain. You can use straight, regimented terrain, so long as it doesn't look completely boxy and uninteresting.
• The doodads are uninteresting at best. There are also simply not enough doodads to offset the awful "boxiness."
• The arena is painfully plain. It's just a standard box with obstacles permeating the ground randomly.
• No shadows? With your number of doodads, adding a shadow map would only take a minute at the most. Shadows improve the map's look by a huge margain if it's supposed to be outdoors. If it's supposed to be indoors, you don't need this. You should regenerate the shadows last, though, so you don't need to worry about doing it again. I use a lot of doodads in my terrains, which came to my disadvantage sine last time I added shadows to a 196x196 map, it took a half hour to complete!

To give you an idea of what I mean, here's a sample pic of my upcoming gladiator-style map:

What's wrong with Targas? Can't Windows view them natively? It looks ok, but it's a bit boxy, even though it IS an arena.

Well, whatever dark revenant. And, what "more than that I haven't understood"? Makes no sense.

That's why targas are bad. They take up too much space.

And if you don't understand what people are saying, then you better learn. We're not teaching you.
